Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called "Part C" or "MA Plans," are offered by private companies approved by Medicare. If you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you still have Medicare. You'll get your Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) coverage from the Medicare Advantage Plan and not Original Medicare. The plans offered can cost anywhere from $0 - $60 monthly premium depending where you live.

Medicare Supplement
Medicare Supplement plans also known as Medigap will help cover some of the costs not covered by Medicare Parts A and B, such as deductibles and coinsurance, so you have more predictable costs. You can keep the same doctors, you are still in the Medicare program, and you have all of your Medicare rights and protections. These plans can cost anywhere from $120 - $250 monthly premium. A number of factors will determine your premium.
